EEC extended zero duty on phosphorus raw materials

Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has decided to extend for three years the import customs duty of the Eurasian Economic Union at the rate of 0% for raw materials used for the production of phosphorus fertilizers.
“The zero rate allows us to ensure the full loading of production capacities for the output of mineral fertilizers amid the limited production volumes of raw materials in the Union and to fill its deficit through import,” said Director of EEC Tariff and Non-tariff Customs Regulation Department, Vahagn Ghazaryan.
According to his statement, the extension of the zero duty rate aimed at reducing the cost and improving the availability of finished products in the Eurasian Economic Union.
