Uralkali criticized the Belarusian-Indian contract
Uralkali commented on the signing of a contract between Belarusian Potash Company and Indian Potash, giving a negative assessment.
“Taking into account the positive market conditions observed in the second half of 2020-early 2021, as well as the continuing growth in demand for potassium chloride in the main consumption markets this year, Uralkali believes that the price of the signed contract with India does not correspond to the current market trends and does not meet the interests of the leading producers of potassium fertilizers,” said Alexander Terletsky, General Director of Uralkali Trading.
A similar opinion is shared by Nuntrien, Canpotex and K+S Group.
