PhosAgro is to launch a new plant

Today PhosAgro must launch the first stage of a new fertilizers plant in the city of Volkhov (Leningrad Region).

The ceremony is planned to be attended by the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov, Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko, General Director of PhosAgro and concurrently President of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers Andrey Guryev.

The plant are being created by PhosAgro as part of the strategy for the development of the Russian chemical complex and an agreement on the protection and encouragement of investment. It meets the strictest Russian and European environmental legislation and uses the best available technologies.

Its capacity is 1 million tons of mineral fertilizers per year.
