Acron increased the output of nitrogen fertilizers by 5%

Acron Group reported its 1Q2021 production results. According to the company’s press-release, the output of ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers increased by 1,6% to 688 thousand tons and by 5% to 1.170 million tons, respectively. The production of complex fertilizers, on the contrary, declined by 1.1% to 611 thousand tons.

“The projects aimed at increasing capacity implemented last year bring beneficial effect — ammonia production increased by 2% and carbamide production jumped by 30%. It’s especially pleasant to note that the output of granular carbamide at the new unit, commissioned in May 2020, is constantly growing and in the reporting quarter reached 151 thousand tons,” said Alexander Popov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Acron Group.
