Shchekinoazot prepares to launch a new complex

According to the statement of the President of Shchekinoazot (Tula region) Boris Sokol, the plant is conducting commissioning works at the complex for the production of nitric acid and ammonium nitrate with a capacity of 270 and 340 thousand tons, respectively.
The company plans to launch the production of ammonia and carbamide with a capacity of 525 and 700 thousand tons per year by 2024.
“Due to the pandemic, the construction slightly delays in schedule,” said Boris Sokol. “I’m sure that the team of experienced builders will be able to catch up and successfully continue work on time.”
