VTB Bank and VEB acquired one share of the Nakhodka Fertilizer Plant (NFP, Primorsky region). They bought out two shares of the enterprise in September last year at 1 rub ($0,014). Thus, each of them received 0.001% of shares in the authorized capital of NFP.
The main owner of NFP is Chemproject (Moscow), in the authorized capital of which VTB Bank and VEB acquired 9% each at the end of 2020. The Far East and Arctic Development Fund became the owner of another 2% of the authorized capital of NFP.
VTB Bank should provide financing for the construction project of NFP of 71.2 billion rubles (about $988 million) and VEB 91.8 billion rubles (about $1.3 billion). The loan agreement was signed in 2020 for up to 15 years.
In 2026, NFP plans to start the production of ammonia.
