PhosAgro increased sales of nitrogen fertilizers by almost 8%

According to the press-release of PhosAgro, in the January-September period of this year, the company increased sales of nitrogen fertilizers by 7.9% to 1.928 million tons. In 3Q2021 their sales raised by 8% (compared to the same period of 2020) and amounted to 515.4 thousand tons.

Of the total sales of nitrogen fertilizers, there was a jump in sales of ammonium nitrate in the first nine months of 2021 by 34.5% to 629.4 thousand tons and ammonium sulfate by 331.7% to 44.9 thousand tons. Carbamide sales remained almost unchanged reaching 1.253 million tons.

“I’d like to note a significant increase in the sales of nitrogen fertilizers in 3Q2021, which became possible due to both their high availability for customers and the situation on the energy market,” said PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guryev.
