Ammonia production in Russia has fallen drastically

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in the January-March period this year, the production of mineral fertilizers in Russia decreased by 7.4% to 6.6 million tons.

Of their total volume, the output of nitrogen fertilizers in 1Q2022 increased by 3.6% to 3.1 million tons, while the production of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers decreased by 1% to 1.1 million tons and 10% to 2 .4 million tons, respectively. Ammonia production decreased by 14.7% to 4.9 million tons.
