Ammoni plans to launch carbamide-ammoniac compound production
Ammoni plant (city of Mendeleevsk, Tatarstan republic) intends to start production of a carbamide-ammoniac compound this autumn, said its General Director Dmitry Makarov.
Currently, the enterprise is increasing the production of ammonium nitrate: in 2021 it produced 463 thousand tons, in 2022 the output is planned to be increased by 5% to 486.2 thousand tons.
Most of the products are sent to Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and Udmurtia. For example, the sale of ammonium nitrate to Tatarstan’s farmers has increased by 51% over the past three years.
Ammoni plant can produce 717.5 thousand tons of ammonia and the same amount of carbamide and 380 thousand tons of ammonium nitrate per year.
