The global production of glufosinate is growing

According to the experts’ predictions, over the next five years, the use of glufosinate in the world will reach 100 thousand tons against 45 thousand tons in 2021. Their expectations are based on the introduction of a ban on the use of paraquat in several countries around the world.
Today, the use of glufosinate is growing rapidly, so key manufacturers such as BASF, Lier Chemical, UPL, Shandong Yisheng, Yonon, Veyong and Shijiazhuang Ruikai are looking to ramp up production.
Within two years, China plans to commission five new enterprises with a total capacity of 183 thousand tons of glufosinate per year.
