Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers will improve the shipment of its products

The Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers plant (part of Uralchem) will improve the shipping scheme of finished products in the ammophos workshop No.1. To achieve this goal, the company has purchased a new overhead crane and plans to refurbish the shipping area.

The project started in April 2022. First, there was a renovation of the packaging department. The works included the replacement of windows and repair of the roof and road.

Currently, the site in front of the department is being prepared, where in autumn of 2022 the crane will be installed. At the same time, the packaging unit is being re-equipped. As a result, the length of the belt conveyor will increase five times – up to 50 m. The transporting of finished products to the place of loading will be improved as well.

The implementation of the project will allow the company to refuse the services of hired cranes for loading and unloading, as well as to avoid additional costs, and eliminate the use of forklifts.

The project is planned to be completed in November 2022.
