Uralchem opened a laboratory in the Sirius university

Uralchem and scientific and technological university “Sirius” supported the opening of an ecological and biological laboratory at the “Sirius” presidential lyceum.

The laboratory has unique equipment and consists of two zones — cross functional and experimental. The cross-functional area is a classroom with hydroponics and aeroponics units. The experimental space has modern equipment for biotechnological and molecular genetic research.

The laboratory will unite educational programs of general and additional education, project activities, interaction with Sirius University, partners and residents into a single system.

“The opening of the laboratory is a significant step in the development of the strategic partnership between Uralchem ​​and Sirius. Together we strive to foster interest of talented young people in research activities in specialized disciplines in agricultural biotechnologies. By implementing their own projects on the basis of our experimental laboratory, children will be able to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for further admission to the country’s best universities in specialized areas,” said Alexandra Glazkova, Development Director of Uralchem.
