Maaden’s CEO reminded about importance of fertilizers for food security
Saudi Arabian Mining (hereinafter – Maaden) has completed its participation in the International Fertilizer Association (IFA) Annual Conference 2023 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The conference, held May 22-24 under the theme “Where Food and Energy Markets Meet”, brought together stakeholders from across the global agriculture value chain to address the challenges facing the industry.
“Food security depends on the ability of the fertilizer industry to meet the needs of a growing population but we need to work together to increase the efficiency of fertilizer production while reducing the amount of energy used. Maaden is still focus on building working partnerships along the agricultural value chain as the key to a sustainable future for agriculture worldwide,” said Robert Wilt, CEO of Maaden and board member of IFA.
