Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers has completed a repair campaign

Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers (part of Uralchem) has completed the 2023 repair campaign.

The enterprise carried out all planned repair activities, and also carried out work to install new equipment to replace the one that had already exhausted its service life. In particular, in the wet-process phosphoric acid No. 3 and ammophos No. 1 workshops, the ventilation fans were replaced. In addition, during the overhaul, a section of the high-altitude exhaust pipe of ammophos workshop No. 2 was replaced, and in the sulfuric acid workshop, the catalyst in the SK-48 contact apparatus was replaced. Work has also been carried out to improve the quality of gas purification.

The work was completed 48 hours ahead of schedule thanks to the implementation of several measures. Supply chains were established between production shops and repair departments. To quickly resolve issues, prompt notification chats have been created. Only components and assemblies that had no reserve and required serious repairs were delivered to the mechanical repair shop, which made it possible to relieve employees.
