Meghmani Crop Nutrition launches nano urea production in India
Meghmani Organics has commenced commercial operations at its new nano urea plant in Sanand, Ahmedabad, India, under its subsidiary Meghmani Crop Nutrition. This facility has started producing liquid nano urea fertilizer, which is touted to significantly enhance the nutritional efficiency of crops and reduce the costs associated with traditional urea usage.
Concurrently, Meghmani Organics is expanding its operations in the agrochemicals and intermediates sector. The company plans to develop a substantial 14.92-acre site in Ankleshwar, Bharuch district, Gujarat. This expansion aims to increase the company’s production capacity from the current 259.4 tonnes per month (tpm) to 1495 tpm.
Pending modifications to the environmental clearance, the expansion project is scheduled to begin in December 2024.
