Fatima Fertilizer aims to enhance cotton and maize crop productivity

Fatima Fertilizer, in collaboration with the Punjab Agriculture Department, recently hosted the Sarsabz Kissan Convention in Sahiwal. The event aimed to augment the productivity of maize and cotton crops in the region. The event emphasized the balanced use of fertilizers and the adoption of advanced agricultural practices.
The convention showcased Fatima Fertilizer’s key products, Sarsabz Nitrophos and Sarsabz CAN, which are designed to enhance soil fertility and increase crop yields. The focus on cotton and maize is strategic, given cotton’s significant role in Pakistan’s textile industry and maize’s importance as a food and fodder crop.
Approximately 1,500 farmers participated, gaining insights into modern farming techniques and the importance of sustainable practices. Rabel Sadozai, Director of Marketing and Sales at Fatima Fertilizer, articulated the company’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and economic advancement. He highlighted the pivotal role of early cotton production in bolstering the textile sector and the importance of enhanced maize production for food security and livestock nourishment.
Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani, the Provincial Minister for Agriculture of Punjab, commended Fatima Fertilizer for its proactive role in organizing the event and its continuous collaboration with the Punjab government to educate and support the local farming community. He also announced upcoming government initiatives, including a machinery rental services scheme aimed at further boosting crop productivity.
