Corteva unveils new triple-action fungicide for 2026 crop season

Corteva Agriscience has announced the planned launch of its new fungicide product, Forcivo, designed to provide broad-spectrum foliar disease control in corn, soybeans, and other row crops. The product, which contains three active ingredients—flutriafol, azoxystrobin, and fluindapyr—is currently pending registration with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The triple-action formulation is intended to deliver overlapping preventive and curative activity against common fungal diseases, including tar spot, southern rust and frogeye leaf spot. According to Corteva, Forcivo’s multi-mode approach will enhance resistance management and maintain disease control where individual ingredients may be less effective.
“Forcivo fungicide will give growers a powerful disease management tool that bolsters plant health, pushes yield potential and manages disease resistance,” said Mike Eiberger, U.S. Marketing Leader at Corteva.
Beyond corn and soybeans, the product will also be labeled for use on wheat, barley, sorghum and triticale. Corteva highlights the fungicide’s flexibility and 30-day residual activity as key advantages for farmers facing recurring fungal challenges across different crops.
The company also emphasized application efficiency, noting the low use rate of 7 to 9 fluid ounces per acre and compatibility with existing handling and mixing practices.
Growers purchasing Forcivo will have access to Corteva’s TruChoice offer, which provides upfront savings when bundling Forcivo with other Corteva crop protection and seed products, including herbicides, nitrogen stabilizers, and Pioneer brand seed.
Subject to regulatory approval, Forcivo fungicide is expected to be available for the 2026 growing season.
