Koppert names Hans Peters CEO, signaling focus on expansion

Koppert has appointed Hans Peters as chief executive officer, effective May 1, as the company prepares for a new phase of growth in the biological crop protection market.
Mr. Peters replaces an interim leadership structure led by Paul Koppert, who, along with Henri Oosthoek, is expected to return to the supervisory board after a transition period ending in July.
Mr. Peters brings experience across consumer goods, energy and horticulture technology. He previously held senior roles at Unilever, NS and Eneco, and most recently served as chief executive of Priva.
Koppert, founded in 1967, focuses on biological pest control and pollination systems used by greenhouse and open-field growers. The company has expanded internationally as demand for residue-free production methods has grown.
Following the transition, the executive board will include Mr. Peters as CEO, Martin Koppert as chief business officer and Siger Spaans as chief financial officer.
