Corteva partners with Arevo to expand soybean seed nutrition offering in Europe

Corteva has partnered with Swedish crop nutrition company Arevo to add Arginex Soy, an arginine-based soybean seed treatment, to its European seed treatment portfolio. This agreement follows a technical evaluation that confirmed the product’s agronomic performance, formulation stability, and compatibility with Corteva’s existing systems.
Arginex Soy is a seed-applied crop nutrition technology that strengthens root systems, increases nodulation, and improves soybean performance. The companies state that the treatment stimulates root hair development, supports nitrogen-fixing bacteria, and enhances the plant’s ability to use nitrogen and absorb nutrients from early growth stages. The product is commercially available to European farmers and aims to support higher yields, greater crop resilience, and more sustainable production.

Leonardo Costa, EMEA Seed Applied Technologies Leader at Corteva, stated that the evaluation showed Arginex Soy provides the consistency and formulation stability needed for integration into Corteva’s portfolio, helping farmers improve early crop establishment and nutrient efficiency. Arevo CEO Niklas Åström added that the partnership validates the technology and its compatibility with established commercial seed platforms.
