About
Proman GPO (Gas y Petroquímica de Occidente) is a Mexico-based industrial project focused on the development of a large-scale ammonia production complex in Topolobampo, Sinaloa, Mexico. The company is part of PROMAN, a global producer of natural gas-derived products and low-carbon energy solutions. Proman GPO was established to strengthen Mexico’s fertilizer supply chain by reducing dependence on imported ammonia and supporting domestic agricultural and industrial demand.
The project is designed as a major petrochemical and fertilizer infrastructure investment with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency, industrial innovation, and environmental responsibility. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to play an important role in improving fertilizer availability for Mexican agriculture while also generating employment, regional economic development, and supply chain growth in northwestern Mexico.
