A new greenhouse complex has been launched in Krasnodar Krai

Veniamin Kondratyev, the Governor of Krasnodar Krai, has visited the new greenhouse complex Greenhouse Pro.

Its square is 11.2 ha. Since the beginning of the year, the tomato yield has exceeded 770 tons, the cucumber yield – 350 tons; 440 thousand greens plants (herbs) have been harvested. For the first time this year, they began growing strawberries.

The greenhouse complex is built with the use of the newest Dutch technologies; this makes it possible to harvest vegetables almost throughout the year. To date, 5 hectares of cucumbers have been laid, the harvest will begin on August 10.

“The primary competitive advantage of the modern complex is the cultivation of ecologically clean products. The vegetables are already sold in large market chains, and once we have increased capacities, we can expand sales markets and export our products,” said the Governor.

The implementation of the enterprise creation project started in 2016. Its completion is scheduled for 2020. By this time, the estimated capacity is expected to have exceeded 5 thousand tons of vegetables a year.
