NMFP entered the priority development territory
The Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant (NMFP) signed an agreement with the Far East Development Corporation, according to which it was assigned the status of resident of the priority development territory “Petrochemical” (Primorsky krai).
As part of the first phase of the NMFP project, methanol production with a capacity of 1.8 million tons per year will be built, as part of the second phase of ammonia with a capacity of 1.8 million tons per year.
The project assumes the existence of its own marine terminal, which creates favorable logistic conditions for the supply of products throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including key consumers from China, Japan and Korea. Investments in the investment project will amount to more than 200.7 billion rubles ($3 bullion).
