Belaruskali’s production remaining stable

Last year, the output of potash fertilizers in Belarus amounted to 7.348 million tons (on plan-food basis), according to the information from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.

In terms of the volume, this is equivalent to 12.27 million tons. The only enterprise producing potash fertilizers, or rather potassium chloride, in the country is Belaruskali.

In 2016, it produced 10.32 million tons of potassium chloride, in 2017, about 11.5 million tons, and in 2018, over 12 million tons. Thus, by the end of 2019, the output of potassium chloride by Belaruskali remained virtually unchanged.

By 2025, Belaruskali plans to increase capacity to 15.5 million tons of potassium chloride per year.
