Russian farmers used just 8.3% from amelioration support budget

Domestic farmers received governmental support for the implementation of amelioration measures of 711.4 million rubles (approx. $10.3 million). The funds are provided in the framework of the programs “Development of the ameliorative complex of Russia” and “Export of agricultural products”.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, farmers already received 8.3% of the annual limit of federal funds. That is 6.15 percentage points higher compared to the same period last year (2.15%).

The leading positions in providing subsidies to farmers take the Tyumen region (76.8%), Ulyanovsk region (57.8%), Vladimir region (53.1%), Novosibirsk region (47.8%), Nizhny Novgorod region (44.7%), Astrakhan region (37.5%), Tatarstan (34.8%), Lipetsk region (32.7%), Chelyabinsk region (30.7%) and Pskov region (29.9%).

Ministry of Agriculture of Russia constantly monitors federal funds be provided to agricultural producers.
