State Duma develops new law on fertilizer storage
The new regulations on the storage of mineral fertilizers in port territories will be improved, said Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Aleksei Gordeev.
According to his statement, the bill on the storage of agrochemicals in ports caused a discussion as it touches on the environmental requirements that the current legislation establishes.
“In this respect, we have decided to revise and finalize the bill. We have created the working group under the Committee on Transport and Construction of the State Duma. We also involve interested departments, deputies, senators, public organizations and environmental experts in the development of the new regulation,” explained Alexei Gordeev.
