Metafrax finalizes its project

The construction of production facilities of the Ammonia-Carbamide-Melamine complex at Metafrax plant (Gubakha, Perm region) is reaching its final stage.

The construction and installation works are 70% completed. Builders currently work on the installation of technological pipelines and electrical equipment and the laying of electric cables.

The implementation of the project of Ammonia-Carbamide-Melamine Complex costs more than 950 million euros (approximately $1.068 billion). The complex will annually produce up to 575 thousand tons of carbamide, 308 thousand tons of ammonia and 40 thousand tons of melamine. Metafrax schedules to complete the project in 2021.
