Perm Mineral Fertilizers completed a shutdown repair

The Perm Mineral Fertilizers enterprise (part of Uralchem) has completed the shutdown repairs. It lasted 36 days in the ammonia production unit and 37 days in the carbamide production unit, becoming the longest repair in the last decade.

During the repair, the technical re-equipment of the primary reforming furnace of the ammonia unit was conducted. The reaction tubes, the transfer manifold, linings, and catalyst were also replaced. Besides, the specialists carried out the repair and replacement of the equipment and modernization of control systems at the ammonia and carbamide plants. The implemented works will improve the uninterrupted operation of equipment at high loads.
