Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant produced a record volume of complex fertilizers

The Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant (KCKK, part of Uralchem) set a new record in the production of complex mineral fertilizers. The company produced 908.248 thousand tons of these products in 2020.

The main products produced in the complex mineral fertilizer workshop are NPKS fertilizers, calcium-ammonium nitrate, sulfonitrate, and calcium nitrogen sulfate.

“On January 8, 2020, the workshop reported on the production of 22 million tons of fertilizers. This new record is the merit of the entire team of the company. This is the result of the improved technological regime and implementation of investment programs and digital technologies, as well as production modernization,” said Alexander Chernousov, Head of the mineral fertilizer department at Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant.
