Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant exceeded the target of 2020

The Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant (KCKK, part of Uralchem) reported on 2020 production results. The total output of finished products amounted to 2.7 million tons. The plan was exceeded by 1.4%.
The company annually invests significant financials in the repair and modernization of production equipment. For example, the AM-76 unit, for the repair and modernization of which in 2019 was allocated 1.6 billion rubles ($21.52 million), during 2020 increased the daily output by 64 tons and reached record levels.
Nitric acid units produced 1.6 million tons of product in 2020. Their main purpose is to provide the workshops producing fertilizers with nitric acid as much as possible. This is achieved due to regular repairs and ongoing investment projects.
Ammonium nitrate is produced at the enterprise in two granulation towers. The units operated in 2020 at high loads, also increasing the daily product output by 9 and 72 tons compared to 2019. The Uralchem company is the leader in Russia in the production of ammonium nitrate, and the best part of it is produced at Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant.
