Togliattiazot increased carbamide supplies to the domestic market

The Togliattiazot plant (Samara region) reported on the increase in carbamide supplies to the domestic market of Russia in February this year by 20% to 35 thousand tons.

“The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia has announced the needs of Russian agricultural producers for 2021. They have grown to 4.5 million tons. We promptly responded to the increased needs of the domestic agro-industrial complex, and in February reoriented shipping directions to provide farmers with the necessary volumes of mineral fertilizers,” noted Vladislav Pustynnikov Deputy General Director of Togliattiazot.

Over the past years, Togliattiazot has been actively expanding carbamide supplies to the Russian market following the needs of the agricultural sector. This is facilitated by an increase in production — carbamide output in 2020 amounted to 839 thousand tons (in 2019 — 784.6 thousand tons).
