Acron faced the collapse of its ammonium nitrate production

Acron Group reported its 1H2021 results. As follows from the company’s press-release, the production of mineral fertilizers increased by 2.4% to 3.307 million tons.

Of the total production volume, the output of ammonia grew by 3% to 1.415 million tons, however, the output of nitrogen fertilizers and ammonium nitrate declined by 0.7% to 2.424 million tons and 8.8% to 1.118 million tons, respectively. The production of carbamide jumped by 14.7% to 651 thousand tons and carbamide-ammoniac compound expanded by 1.1% to 655 thousand tons.

The output of complex fertilizers rose by 13.6% to 1.296 million tons. Apatite concentrate production increased by 15.4% to 621 thousand tons.
