Togliattiazot reduced carbamide sales by 5%

In 1H2021 the Togliattiazot plant (Samara region) reduced ammonia production by 0.8% to 1.503 million tons, while increased carbamide output by 1% to 0.498 million tons. The preservation of production volumes became possible due to the stable non-stop operation of the units, which is a consequence of the strategic program for the modernization of capacities implemented since 2012.

Sales of ammonia increased by 0.3% to 1.248 million tons, however, sales of carbamide fell by 5% to 0.476 million tons.

In the January-June period of 2021, the revenue of Togliattiazot jumped by 70% to 45.5 billion rubles (approximately $615 million), and net profit increased by 22.3 times to 15.6 billion rubles (about $211 million).

Togliattiazot is one of the largest ammonia producers in Russia and the world.
