The construction of Nakhodka Fertilizer Plant should begin in September

According to the statement of the General Director of Nakhodka Fertilizer Plant (NFP, Primorsky region) Nikolay Sabitov, the construction of the plant will start in September this year.

As follows from his speech, survey and design work is now being completed, and already in September, the construction of the enterprise begins. The volume of investments will amount to 445 billion rubles (approximately $6.1 billion), and the plant will process over 3.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year.

Nakhodka Fertilizer Plant is an anchor resident of the advanced development territory (ADT) “Neftekhimichesky”. To supply NFP with gas, a 94 km gas pipeline branch and a Wrangel gas distribution station will be built, after which they will be connected to the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas trunk line.
