Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant reconstructed an important unit
The Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant (KCKK, part of Uralchem) has completed the reconstruction of the third air turbocompressor unit K-500-61 in the boiler workshop. Its task is to reduce energy consumption and increase the productivity of the compressor station. The need for compressed air has increased due to the expansion of the production of calcium nitrate.
The modernization provided an increase in the capacity of each of the compressors and an increase in the reliability of supplying the main production facilities with compressed air, reducing the power consumption. Due to the replacement of the flow part and consumables, the service life of the units has increased as well.
