Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers has introduced new innovative product

The Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers plant (part of Uralchem) has launched a new product on the Russian market — biomodified mineral fertilizer MultiStart (NPKS 15:15:15:11).

MultiStart, in addition to nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and sulfur useful for plants, contains microorganisms that stimulate the development of the root system, as well as increase the utilization rate of nutrients from the soil and resistance to pathogens. The brand is registered in Russia and some of neighboring countries.

The field tests showed the yield increase on average by 10-15%, when using MultiStart, compared to the use of traditional mineral fertilizers. The first batches of the new product in the amount of 345 tons are already successfully used in the fields of Uralchem partner in the Volga and Central federal districts.

The production of MultiStart is organized using a dry-mixing pilot plant. Later, it’s planned to increase the output of new products in the ammophos workshop No.1 of Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers.

“Uralchem is expanding its product portfolio, focusing on the world’s leading trends in the field of agriculture, as well as market needs. We have combined the benefits of traditional mineral nutrition and the beneficial properties of a biocomponent in one granule. A fundamentally new product will optimize the nutrition, growth and stress resistance of cultivated plants, increase the efficiency of absorption of nutrients and improve soil bacterial flora,” said Tatyana Surdina, Marketing Director of Uralchem.
