Agropark greenhouse complex went bankrupt

The Commercial Court of the Kursk region declared the Agropark greenhouse complex bankrupt and introduced bankruptcy proceedings against it. Earlier in May 2022, at the request of the Russian Agricultural Bank, which is the main creditor of Agropark, a monitoring procedure was established for the complex. As of today, Agropark’s debts amount to 1.2 billion rubles (almost $20.5 million).

Agropark was launched in 2015. Its area exceeds 10 hectares, and it can grow up to 1.8 thousand tons of tomatoes, 4.6 thousand tons of cucumbers, and 220 tons of lettuce per year. Products were supplied to the cities of Kursk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Yaroslavl.
