Uralchem shareholder Dmitry Mazepin called on world traders to unblock Russian ammonia supplies with the help of the UN.
His proposal concerns the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline. As Dmitry Mazepin stated, it’s expected that an American or other non-Russian company, “chosen from among three or four leading international traders,” will buy ammonia in Russia and deliver it to the port of Odessa, from where it will be exported via the Black Sea.
Exports can start immediately and about 80% of the production will go to African countries.
“We are ready to resume pumping right now,” Dmitry Mazepin added.
