EuroChem Group names Marc Hechler as new CEO

EuroChem Group AG has announced the appointment of Marc Hechler as its new Chief Executive Officer, following the stepping down of Samir Brikho. Mr. Brikho, who has served as CEO since August 2022 and has been with the company since February 2018, will continue his involvement with EuroChem as the Chairman of the Board.

Marc Hechler, with over two decades of experience in the global fertilizer industry, has been instrumental in leading the Group’s business operations in Europe for the past five years. During his tenure, Hechler has demonstrated a robust capability for leadership, notably through the successful execution of several restructuring projects.

In his new role, Hechler’s primary focus will be on managing risks and maintaining the efficiency of EuroChem’s European operations, a critical task amid the current challenging economic landscape.
