Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant (KCKK, part of Uralchem) has completed the repair process at one of the five nitric acid units.
Employees of the nitric acid workshops, repair service of technological equipment and employees of the contractor attended the process. During the repair, they carried out all planned examinations, eliminated the identified defects and cleaned the equipment. As a result, the repair will have a positive impact on the environmental performance and stability of the equipment.
Paint-and-lacquer coating (anti-corrosion protection) was renewed at the nitric acid unit this year as well.
