Russian Railways is ready to discuss transportation of Belarusian agrochemicals

Russian Railways (RZD) is ready for negotiations with the Belarusian authorities to discuss possible options for transporting fertilizers produced in the country. However, discounts provided by RZD shouldn’t put Russian producers in unequal conditions, said Russian Railways CEO Alexei Shilo.
“The crucial moment to watch out is that while creating conditions for Belarusian producers, we shouldn’t put the producers of potassium fertilizers in Russia in the situation when their products become non-competitive due to high tariffs,” he said.
