Uralchem and Russian Railways signed an important agreement

Uralchem and Russian Railways (hereinafter — RZD) have signed an agreement on mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at ensuring railway transportation of Uralchem’s products.

The document was signed by Dmitry Konyaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uralchem, and Oleg Belozerov, General Director of RZD. The ceremony was held at the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

According to the agreement, RZD intends to transport Uralchem’s products of the agreed volumes and implement a flexible tariff policy following the manner prescribed by standard regulation.

Uralchem, in turn, will provide cargo in volumes not lower the level of 2020 in the long term.

“RZD is one of the key partners of Uralchem, on which the implementation of the company’s plans largely depends. We appreciate the achieved cooperation and intend to only strengthen it in the future. The new agreement will help to meet the growing demand of consumers of mineral fertilizers, ensure the interrupted supplies, especially for Russian agricultural producers, and increase the volume of transportation by RZD,” said Dmitry Konyaev.
