Smartchem Technologies relies on e-commerce in pursue for growth

Indian Smartchem Technologies has signed an agreement with the e-commerce platform AgroStar with the purpose to expand sales of mineral fertilizers to farmers of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The parties hope that the use of digitalization will be in high demand.

Smartchem Technologies is a subsidiary of Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation. It’s engaged in sales of the entire line of mineral fertilizers produced by Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals.

“The Covid-19 pandemic and quarantine restrictions have accelerated the development of e-commerce in agrochemicals in rural areas, and this trend is gradually spreading in the country’s agro-industrial complex,” said Mahesh Girdha, the top manager at Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals.
