Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant increased the output of NPK-fertilizers by 16%

In the first half of 2021, the Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant (KCKK, part of Uralchem) produced 1.372 million tons of products, slightly increasing its production compared to the same period in 2020.

Of the total volume, the production of ammonium nitrate and nitrogen phosphate increased by 2% to 642 thousand tons and NPK-fertilizers by 16% to 183 thousand tons. The output of complex fertilizers amounted to 441 thousand tons.

KCKK’s revenue in the January-February period this year increased by 38% to 26 billion rubles (approximately $351 million), while its net profit reached 9 billion rubles (about $121.5 million).

“Despite the pandemic, we are heading for development and continue to improve production and financial performance. The enterprise fully solves the issues of modernization of production facilities, implements investment and environmental projects,” said Anatoly Shablinsky, Director of Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant.
