Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant Began the Production of a New Product
Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant has begun the production of NPK 19:4:19 in the complex mineral fertilizers workshop.
In the production laboratory of the enterprise, the necessary calculations were carried out and the processes occurring in the main units for obtaining fertilizer were simulated. Particular attention was paid to safety issues: permissible values of technological media and technical parameters were determined.
The workshop’s operating technology allows for quick switching between the production of different brands of fertilizers. Adaptation to the release of a new product was minimal – technological modes were selected in the shortest possible time. The high content of nitrogen-containing components and the reduced amount of phosphorus provide better granulation. This, in turn, influenced the increase in the average daily capacity of the units by 17%.
The first batches of NPK fertilizers were sent to consumers in Brazil. The new fertilizer performed well during transportation and received good feedback from customers based on the results of use.
The safety of the new product has been confirmed by tests. The fertilizer is registered by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
