Yara Ghana launches new foliar fertilizer YaraVita CropLift Bio

Yara Ghana Limited has introduced a new foliar fertilizer, YaraVita CropLift Bio, in a bid to expand its array of crop nutrition products tailored for Ghanaian farmers.

YaraVita CropLift Bio is described as a comprehensive foliar solution, enriched with essential nutrients including NPK, Zinc, Boron, and Magnesium. This product is designed to enhance fruit quality and increase yields across various crops such as maize, rice, sorghum, millet, fruits, vegetables, and tree crops like cocoa.

The development of YaraVita CropLift Bio involved extensive research and testing, including collaborative trials with the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG). These efforts have led to certifications for its use on cocoa to improve foliage, flowering, and bean production. Mr. Djorbuah noted that field demonstrations in Ghana have confirmed the product’s effectiveness in improving yields under local agricultural conditions. Additionally, its compatibility with agrochemicals simplifies integration into existing farming practices.

Farmers attending the launch of the new product expressed their gratitude towards Yara Ghana for consistently providing high-quality products that have significantly boosted their productivity and income. They also shared their optimism about the potential benefits of YaraVita CropLift Bio for their crop yields.
