Loveland launched three new crop input solutions for Canadian farmers: BLACKMAX WSG, Radiate Plus, and Prevade

Loveland Products, a subsidiary of Nutrien Ag Solutions, has introduced three new input solutions for Canadian growers. These solutions target key agronomic challenges such as nutrient efficiency, plant vigor, and soil conditions. The new product lineup includes BLACKMAX WSG, Radiate Plus, and Prevade, each designed to integrate into common crop management systems across Western Canada.
“These latest additions to our portfolio drive stronger crop performance and support greater return on investment for our grower customers,” said Jesse Hamonic, Vice President and Country Head of Nutrien Ag Solutions Canada.
BLACKMAX WSG: soil-enhancing carbon formulation
BLACKMAX WSG is a water-soluble granular input based on Loveland’s proprietary C2 Technology, which uses a carbon extraction and reaction process to improve nutrient availability and microbial activity. Intended for integration into dry fertilizer programs, the product is positioned to support nutrient uptake and soil structure, especially in compacted or nutrient-depleted fields.
Radiate Plus: foliar growth enhancer for early-season resilience
Radiate Plus, formulated with IBA, Kinetin, and a blend of macro- and micronutrients, is designed to stimulate early root and shoot growth. The product targets crops such as canola, cereals, soybeans, and potatoes, offering resilience in variable moisture conditions common in Canadian prairies.
“Radiate Plus helps plants establish deeper, more resilient root systems that access water and nutrients more effectively—even in challenging environments,” said Casey McDaniel, Vice President of Loveland Products.
Prevade: soil modifier to optimize herbicide efficacy
Prevade is a vegetable oil-based utility modifier designed for use with pre-plant and pre-emergent herbicides. By aiding herbicide retention in the soil’s target zone, the product seeks to enhance residual control and reduce leaching caused by rainfall or irrigation. Loveland says the technology provides improved weed control during early crop development stages.
Tailored solutions for local conditions
Hamonic emphasized that all three products were selected with specific Canadian agronomic needs in mind, including compatibility with existing farm practices and a focus on return on investment. Nutrien encourages growers to consult with local Nutrien Ag Solutions agronomists for guidance on how to best implement these tools.
