Replenish Nutrients closes $7.5M from SRC Agrominerals to expand Beiseker pelletization facility

Replenish Nutrients has closed a $7.5 million equity investment from SRC Agrominerals, the first tranche of a $15 million strategic deal announced on July 20 that gives SRC a 19.9% stake in the Canadian specialty fertilizer maker.
A second $7.5 million convertible debenture is expected to close on or about August 14. Net proceeds will fund an expansion of Replenish’s pelletization facility in Beiseker, Alberta, along with working capital, inventory purchases and debt repayment. The Beiseker expansion is targeted for completion in the first quarter of 2028.
SRC Agrominerals is a Saskatchewan-based potash producer. As part of the deal, SRC CEO Tim Close will join Replenish’s board of directors, and Dr. David Morris, founder of Morris Group Canada, will serve as a board advisor.
Replenish Nutrients produces blended and enhanced-efficiency fertilizers for Western Canadian farmers. The Beiseker facility expansion will increase the company’s pelletization capacity, allowing it to process a broader range of nutrient blends.
The investment comes as fertilizer supply chains across North America face ongoing disruption from the Strait of Hormuz crisis. Specialty fertilizer makers have seen growing demand as farmers seek products that maximize nutrient efficiency under elevated input costs.
