Valtra unveils 6th-generation T Series with new engine, digital controls and farm connectivity

AGCO’s Valtra has introduced the sixth generation of its T Series tractors, combining a new AGCO Power CORE75 engine with an upgraded SmartTouch Gen2 operator interface, automation features and factory-ready PTx FarmENGAGE connectivity. The new range covers tractors from 170 hp to 245 hp and is aimed at professional farmers, contractors and other demanding applications.
The new 7.5-liter, six-cylinder CORE75 engine delivers up to 245 hp and 1,184 Nm of torque in the T236 model. AGCO Power testing indicates up to 5% lower best-point specific fuel consumption compared with the previous 74HD engine, although independent validation testing is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Customers can choose between an AGCO ML 180 continuously variable transmission and a new 10-step powershift transmission, with transport speeds of up to 57 km/h depending on specification and local regulations.
A central feature of the new tractors is SmartTouch Gen2, which uses a 12-inch touchscreen with up to 16 customizable work-screen quadrants, personalized operator and task profiles, and up to 12 configurable buttons. Valtra has also added automated ground-speed hydraulics, implement management, front-linkage control and integrated guidance functions intended to reduce manual adjustments. The tractors are factory-ready for PTx FarmENGAGE, allowing machine data, tasks and agronomic information to be shared between the field and farm office, including across mixed fleets.
Valtra said orders for the sixth-generation T Series opened Oct. 1, with first deliveries expected by the end of 2026, subject to availability.
