About
Acron is a global Russian mineral fertilizer producer headquartered in Moscow, with its main production facilities located in Veliky Novgorod and the Verkhnedneprovsky settlement in the Smolensk Region (the Dorogobuzh plant). The company operates a vertically integrated business model that spans mining of raw materials, fertilizer production, its own logistics network, and distribution, giving it control over the full value chain from feedstock to finished product. Acron’s roots go back to 1961, when construction of its original Novgorod chemical plant began; the facility’s first production units were commissioned in 1967.
Today, Acron ships its products to customers in roughly 60 countries across six continents, with Russia, Brazil, Europe, and the United States among its key markets. The group also develops its own raw material base, including the Oleniy Ruchey apatite (phosphate) mine and the Talitsky potash project, which are intended to reduce its reliance on third-party suppliers and further strengthen its vertically integrated model.
